Class Policy
Robbinsville Middle School uses the PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions & Support) System for their behavior management program.
Classroom standards begin upon entering the room. Students are responsible to know and follow the standards of behavior set forth in the student handbook & 8th grade team, including the policy about tardiness to class.
Actions that disrupt the educational process such as speaking out of turn, not being on task with class assignments, and disrespect to fellow students and to the teacher are unacceptable behaviors. Student will either be given silent lunch, sent to the office, and/or have parents notified of poor behavior.
Cell Phones are NOT ALLOWED in class. Phones may be kept in lockers or in backpacks during class. If they are seen or heard in class, students will lose PBIS points.
Students are to bring chromebook, pen/pencil, and paper to class each day. Students may also bring a book to read in case they get finished early.
Unexcused late work will NOT be accepted. If a student is sick or must miss a class, it is the responsibility to get the assignments. Students have 3 days to turn in missing assignments starting the day they come back.
Cheating and Plagiarism- If any student is caught cheating on any assignment, quiz, or test, the result will be an automatic zero for that assignment or test. This includes copying another student's homework. The same rule applies to plagiarism on projects and research assignments.
