Quote of the week from Mrs Bana
A big warm welcome to Autumn Term 2.
I'm borrowing this quote from one of our pupils who said this during our Ofsted inspection in April this year,
" We are all different but we can all still be friends! "
Now more than ever, it is vital that our children hear and receive the same messages at home. We have put a lot of emphasis in our curriculum and day to day in how our pupils can build and sustain relationships with everyone but also manage their feelings when they face confrontation or differences in opinion. I hope you can support us with this.
We’re excited to announce that starting in the Spring Term 2026, we plan to offer wrap-around care (before and after school) along with a variety of new after-school clubs for our children.
Our Breakfast Club is already up and running, and parents can sign up easily via Arbor.
We are now exploring options for after-school care to further support our working families. The programme will provide a safe, engaging, and enriching environment for children outside of regular school hours.
We would greatly appreciate it if you could take a few minutes to complete the short form linked below. Your feedback will help us shape the range of activities, schedules, and support services to best meet the needs of both your child and your family.
The deadline to complete the form is Friday 14th November 12noon.
School Grid - Technical Issue
Due to a technical issue, the School Grid system had to be reloaded. Unfortunately, this reset has caused the loss of all new booking data.
If you made any bookings for next week, please note that these have been removed and will need to be re-entered.
We apologise for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding while we work to ensure the system runs smoothly.
Autumn Term Curriculum Maps
To help you to support your child's learning at home, this term's Curriculum Maps are now available on the school website. We encourage you to take a look, as they offer valuable insights into what your child is learning and how you can reinforce this at home. You can also access the maps by clicking on the link below:

🌟 Farewell to Ms. King 🌟
Today, we say a heartfelt goodbye to Ms. King, who has been an important part of our school community for the past 12 years. During this time, she has made a lasting difference in the lives of so many children, families, and colleagues. As she moves on to new adventures, we hope she carries with her fond memories of the years spent at Grafton.
Thank you for 12 wonderful years of service, care, and inspiration. You leave behind a legacy that will continue to shine in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of working and learning with you.
We wish you every success and happiness in the next chapter of your journey. You will always be part of our school family.
We are very excited to invite you to our Nursery & Reception Christmas Sing-Along events! The children have been practising their festive songs and are looking forward to performing for you. Please see the dates and times for each group below:

✨ Happy School Bag Fundraising Project✨
Article 24: Children have the right to a clean environment so that they will stay healthy.
We are delighted to announce that the school is holding a clothing collection with Happy School Bag Fundraising Project.
This scheme is designed to help schools raise needed funds, as well as helping the environment by keeping textiles away from landfills. By taking part in this scheme you will also help to reduce the amount of reusable textiles from going to landfill and give the clothing a new lease of life.
Simply fill any plastic bag with unwanted but clean and reusable items such as clothing, paired shoes, and fashion accessories.
