This award is intended to recognize outstanding service at the district level, above and beyond what is expected of the Scouter's registered position. 

The District Award of Merit will be presented at the Mt. Rubidoux District Dinner in recognition for going beyond expectations. 

Is your Cubmaster/Scoutmaster/Advisor/Skipper doing an overall outstanding job?  

The Unit Leader Award of Merit is awarded to the trained unit leader who promotes a high quality scouting experience and recognizes the importance of a positive relationship with the chartered organization and the community. 

 If this sounds like your unit leader, nominate them!  This award will be presented at the Mt. Rubidoux District Dinner to recognize their dedicated efforts! 

Are there any Scouters (not just the top leader) you wish to recognize for noteworthy and outstanding service at the unit level?

The Unit Scouter Award recognizes registered adult volunteers who have made a notable and outstanding difference on the youth at the unit level.  

This award will be presented at the Mt. Rubidoux District Dinner in recognition of their efforts! 

Do you know of a volunteer who is relatively new but shows great enthusiasm and has made a significant contribution to the success of your unit?  

Maybe they volunteered to be in charge of an event, or stepped up to be a unit leader even though they're not a "leader". 

 Or maybe they arrive early and stay late to help cleanup at every event and are fully engaged with the youth.  

Nominate them for the Spark Plug Award!
