Welcome to my website
I am a development economist specializing in impact evaluation methods and the research of interventions that promote socio-economic development, and inclusive and equitable growth in low- and middle-income countries, including emergency settings.
I am currently working as a Field Coordinator (and co-PI) for Development Impact Evaluation (DIME, World Bank) and managing the implementation of an RCT testing two alternate disbursement schemes for a project supporting smallholder farmers in Ghana. Previously, I was in South Sudan, where I supervised the execution of two RCTs to assess the impacts of livelihood and education interventions.
I have a PhD in Development Economics from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. Professors Tim Swanson and Martina Viarengo were my thesis co-directors. A summary of my dissertation is available here. It included three impact evaluations using non-experimental methods to research pro-poor interventions and policies in Malawi, Tanzania, and South Africa.
