The project task was to design a different and unique concept for a Johor Bharu local food hub with an emphasis on `buildings as sculptures’ The concept must demonstrate a flexible and functional use of space for Johor Bharu food hub ideas with varied food stalls, varied seating options, durable finish options for high performance, and innovative solutions throughout the space. The concept will also include sensory experiences in which the Johor Bharu food hub is more than a place to eat. The design of a Johor Bharu food hub should be a balance between a welcoming ambiance and maximum seating capacity. The site is located at Hutan Bandar MBIP specifically nearest to the existing futsal court.
