Revitalizing Food and Heritage in Johor Bahru City Centre
Globalization, standardization and gentrification has caused loss of identity. Heritage food is common food which are part of our lives. Shop houses represent the city's character and its people. These multipurpose buildings are more sustainable than modern designs, meeting the needs of both owners and the public. This project aims to preserve Johor Bahru's identity and improve social integration among its multiracial residents. It will be a place to learn about heritage food, including its process, history, and cultural significance, while enhancing city livability by integrating residential spaces.
