Robotic-Assisted Rehabilitation Centre for Mobility Impaired People
Inclusive Future: Bridging the Gap between Abled and Disabled People
This project explores the pressing need for an inclusive future in Johor Bahru City, addressing the challenges faced by a growing population of disabled individuals. Proposing the establishment of Robotic-Assisted Rehabilitation Centers, it investigates the pivotal role of architecture in the healing process. Can architectural design actively contribute to the well-being of disabled individuals? Additionally, it advocates for the integration of technological advancements, particularly robotic-assisted rehabilitation, supported by empirical studies. The broader focus extends to designing for the future, learning from the past to create spaces that are not only accessible but also therapeutic, fostering a positive impact on the well-being of inhabitants. Ultimately, the project serves as a call to action, envisioning a future where disabled individuals are empowered to thrive through innovative architectural solutions.
