FISHERMEN MARKET
Redefine a wet market by implement hybrid ventilation to reduce the odors and enhance quality of the air environment at mangroves area
Urbanization of coastal development in mangrove land areas brings out the results of marina coastal pollution, which affects the quality of aquatic ecosystem, mangroves forest ecosystem and human life. The architectural solution to this challenge is the integration of mangroves plantation with aquaculture. Besides, the absence of socio-economic commercial activity in mangrove land areas is also a big challenge that needs to be solved by centralising a nodes for diversity in socio-economic commercial activities as an eco-tourism place. This project is proposed with the aim of establishing a fishermen's market by implementing a hybrid ventilation system with optimum thermal performance in mangrove land areas to ensure good air quality for building occupants.
