Overall study aims and objectives are derived from current issues where recent studies have suggested that depression has become one of the top three diseases that cause disability and this has been attracting significant attention, particularly in developing countries. In recent research, youth adult is the most affected by mental health issues especially the people staying at urban area. Study shows unhealthy life style give more risk contributes to the mental illnesses. Health can be divide by two categories which are physical health and mental health. To achieve healthy life style, people need to excel both health. Except working, people spend most of their time at their own house. During post covid, some company decided to maintain the concept ‘working at home’ because of the productivity increase. Based on the explanation above, house is the most suitable building for architecture to design in order to reduce the depression in the society. In general, there are lot of housing units especially high rise residence out there, had no concerns about public facilities. People who pay for low cost or medium cost housing keen to get unhealthy environments with limited space and recreation areas such as multipurpose hall, and playground to be used for community and recreation activities. Besides that, the inaccessible architecture layout design at surrounding their apartment give more stress towards the user. Developer nowadays are more focus on profit rather than the building function. As an architect, we must be responsible to design that give benefit to the user. Architect need to think the solution for low cost and medium cost housing to experience the mid-high environment. In addition to, besides the owner, people in the society should be involved to contribute in the design to make the design more functional.
