Tropical climates present unique challenges for building design due to high temperatures and humidity. Natural ventilation is a critical strategy to enhance sightseers comfort while reducing energy consumption. Forests play an integral role in influencing natural ventilation by moderating local climate, reducing ambient temperatures, and promoting airflow through vegetation. The proximity of a forest reserve, such as the Kota Damansara Forest Reserve, provides an opportunity to integrate the natural cooling effects of greenery into building design. This research aims to leverage the symbiotic relationship between forests and ventilation to design a sustainable commune awareness hub that aligns with ecological and community needs.
