Securing Food and Economic Resiliency For The Local People of Bangsar
In the effort of addressing both Macro Issues and Micro Issues within and outside the site, the theme of food security is studied as it is very much relevant to our current volatile world, ever so dependent to resources from the outside. What can be done in an individual level? By extension how can a community respond to such threat? In a more localised context, Bangsar is a highly transient area where the economy only serves to the working people during the day and no specific activity catered for the locals. Utilizing our afifinity to malls and shopping complexes as a point of interest and gathering, a hybrid of new activities and community engagement of urban farming is proposed.
