Prison Museum as a Place of Public Discourse:
Kota Jail, Ayer Molek
The Johor State Government relocated the overcrowded jail Ayer Molek, Johor Bahru to the Kluang and Simpang Renggam, Johor 2017. This created a challenge to retrofit the abandoned building of Johor Bahru Old Prison as a place of discourse and learning objectives for the community while at the same time improving the identity of Johor Bahru City as institutional tourism.
