Bridging Gaps in Cycling and Housing Infrastructure in Kampung Datuk Keramat
In response to Kampung Datuk Keramat's changing urban context, this project aims to promote cycling mobility housing as an essential component for community development. The major goal is to improve accessibility by establishing robust bike infrastructure and encouraging active community participation. This effort is based on a multidimensional research framework and aims to achieve three key goals. First, it will examine the permeability of the Klang River, providing the framework for community stewardship options. Second, it aspires to design a cycling-friendly development that promotes inclusivity while strengthening social and economic integration along the riverbanks. Finally, it examines the critical role of community engagement in the planning, design, and implementation of cycling infrastructure projects. These goals aim to increase mobility fairness and representation, promising to revitalize the area and improve local socioeconomic dynamics through extensive community involvement.
