As the global population ages, the prevalence of dementia continues to rise, posing significant challenges for individuals, families, and the communities. Traditional care models often lack the flexibility and adaptability required to support the diverse and evolving needs of dementia patients. Thus, this thesis aims to explore the concept of "integrated dementia-friendly living" that focus on creating an inclusive and supportive living environments for elderly especially those with dementia that integrate thoughtful design, person-centered care, and inter-generation social engagement to maximize the independence, well-being and quality of life. It seeks to slow down the progression of dementia as well as increase community awareness of the condition.
