• Write expressions in equivalent forms to solve problems A-SSE.
  • Choose and produce an equivalent form of an expression to reveal and explain properties of the quantity represented by the expression.
    • Example demonstrated in this project: Use Ohms law to explain why current and voltage are the same value when the voltage drop across a 1 ohm resistor.
• Create equations that describe numbers or relationships A-CED.
  • Create equations and inequalities in one variable and use them to solve problems. Include equations arising from linear and quadratic functions, and simple rational and exponential functions.
    • Example demonstrated in this project: Derive tube bias value by multiplying vPlate * kCurrent. Observe current increase and plate voltage decrease.
