MUN

Club description 

MUN stands for Model United Nations, and it's an opportunity for students to debate real-world issues that are faced by the UN on a regular basis through the lens of the nation they are representing. MUN is a simulation of UN committee sessions where students are able to engage in meaningful discussions, improve their speaking skills, become more knowledgeable of the world they live in, and meet new people from around Brazil, Latin America, and the rest of the world. 

Participants are expected to attend as many MUN conferences as possible, particularly GMUN. They are also expected to attend meetings; if a participant misses three meetings in a semester, they will be removed from the club. If they were removed, they are allowed to join the club again in the next semester.
