At CGB, our students are our top priority. We show up every day to ensure that our children and our future have the best chance at a quality and meaningful education. When we invest in our schools, we invest in our students- and in the future of our entire community. A strong educational foundation not only equips students with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed, but also fosters confidence, curiosity, and lifelong learning. Maintaining a high-quality, meaningful education ensures that every student has the opportunity to reach their full potential. Our collective support helps create safe, engaging, and inspiring learning environments where students can thrive.
A Note from our Principals:
We have an excellent staff and prioritize relationships in the building as we know this has a direct impact on students' learning and well-being. Ensuring adequate and stable funding is essential in providing optimal learning and school experiences.
Our important staff includes teachers, paraprofessionals, specialists, secretaries, nurses, interventionists, special education, and other support staff.
Adequate funding is also essential for providing STEM and art opportunities, field trips/environmental education, technology subscriptions, staff development, resources for new standards, and curriculum purchases. Adequate funding secures the best possible curriculum, instructional materials, resources, and training required to ensure our students’ success.

If voters approve the referendum, CGB will gain $550,000 in annual funding ($350K for Capital Projects, $200K for Operating Levy). This will allow us to:
Keep class sizes manageable so students get more personal attention.
Continue offering a wide range of electives, including business, arts, and technology.
Provide strong student support services like counseling, tutoring, and special education.
Maintain safe, well-equipped classrooms with updated technology, curriculum, and learning materials.
Keep activity fees affordable and protect sports, music, and other extracurricular opportunities.
Stabilize funding while we transition to one building, avoiding deep cuts in the future.
Together, we can protect and strengthen CGB’s educational experience.
