I am a third generation and lifelong member of the church here at Grace. Both of my parents have taught here on staff and now both my brother and I have as well. I am also an alumni of both Growing in Grace Preschool and Grace Christian School, even having three of the other teachers on staff as my teachers as I went through my years here at Grace. I attended Christian schools from PreK through High School so I know how important Christian education is for students as they grow up.
After high school I moved away to Boise, Idaho to go to Boise State University where I received my Bachelors degree from the School of Public Service in both History and Political Science. While at college I was involved in many clubs including my campus' Intervarsity Christian Club and the club sports Ultimate Frisbee team. I am proud alumni of Boise State and regularly visit for both sporting events and to catch up with old friends.
In my free time my main hobbies that I enjoy are disc golfing, gaming, and building Legos. In regards to disc golf I have entered into about 10 tournaments over the previous year and have won 2 of those. It is amazing to get out and throw some plastic whenever I can. When I'm not out throwing plastic I enjoy sitting down and gaming, whether that's board games or video games, I love the fun that can be had with those around you in your home or online. Lastly, Legos are a staple in my household. As will be obvious in my classroom design, I love Legos and whenever I can get a new Lego set to build and add to my collection I do.
For as long as I can remember my dream in life was to be a teacher, so to see this dream become a reality at place I care for as deeply as Grace Christian School is truly a blessing and an honor. I look forward to being your students' teacher for this year and years to come. I look forward to what this school year will bring!
