About

Georgia Regional Academic Bowl (GRAB), Inc. was founded in 2019 when stakeholders met to discuss the future of RESA Academic Bowl. They voted to form this nonprofit organization in order to  oversee the formerly named RESA State Championship. 

GRAB seeks to do the following: 

• • Promote the formation of peer groups and sportsmanship among academically advanced students in the state of Georgia through academic competition;

  • Encourage academic competition among Georgia schools; 

  • Sponsor an annual State Championship; 

  • Support the independent academic bowl leagues as requested in organizing region tournaments; and

  • Coordinate among the independent Academic Bowl leagues in the state of Georgia.
