HAVE A GREAT SUMMER!

Welcome to Aspen Creek Elementary! My name is Brett Gebhardt and I will be in my 6th year of teaching Physical Education. I am a father of two wonderful boys, Oliver and Max, and a husband to my beautiful wife, Sarah. We are very busy with two young ones running around the house, and neighborhood, and coaching their teams, but makes for a great workout! Looking forward to another great year here at ACE!

Prior to teaching I was a Youth Sports Director for the YMCA of Greater Omaha. Teaching and instructing the youth about the importance of physical activity and living a healthy lifestyle is a great passion of mine.

Below you will find a tentative guide of what we will be doing this year in PE. I am looking forward to a great year teaching PE and helping kids develop their physical skills as well as their cognitive skills. We will learn, grow, and take part in many physical activities with a strong emphasis on what I consider the four pillars of sportsmanship: Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility. I will also strive to help teach the kids how to have a healthy diet and make smart life decisions.
