Meet the Teacher

About me

Hi!  I'm Mrs. Jamie Nuss.  This is my third year at Thomas and I could not be more pleased to be part of the Thomas Elementary family and working with this dynamic team of educators in this wonderful school community.  I have spent the last 10 years as an adjunct English instructor at Metro Community College and as a full time mom.  I spent six years before that as a high school English, speech and theater teacher at Blair High School.  I earned my BS in Secondary English Education at UNL in 2006, an MA in English- Composition and Linguistics at UNO in 2009 and a High Ability Learner Endorsement through UNK in 2021.
