Experience

This will be my third year of teaching. I have taught fifth grade at Thomas Elementary since I graduated with my masters degree.

Prior to my experience at Thomas, I student taught in a fourth grade class at Belmar Elementary in Denver, CO.

Personal

I grew up in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. My family moved from Highlands Ranch to Papillion when I was a sophomore. I finished high school at Papillion La Vista. Go Monarchs!

After high school I went to college at Colorado Christian University in Lakewood, Colorado. During college I played basketball for CCU in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.

After my time at CCU I completed an accelerated masters program in reading and literacy from Regis University in Denver, Colorado.

Following college I decided to move back to Omaha to be close to family.

I currently coach basketball up at Gretna High in addition to teaching yoga and pilates for fun!
