Welcome to fourth grade! I am so thrilled to have you in my class this year. This will be my fifth year of teaching and I can't wait for another fantastic year!
I am 27 years old, and I graduated from Northwest Missouri State University with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education and a Concentration in Mathematics. I also have my Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and am currently working on my School Librarian endorsement.
I was lucky enough to have also done my student teaching for an entire school year in fourth grade right here at Falling Waters Elementary during the 2020-2021 school year. I can't wait to continue working with such phenomenal teachers and students!
When I'm not teaching, I enjoy exercising, watching Husker sports, and spending time with my friends and family. I also have a dog, Winnie, an older brother, Ryan, who is currently an professor of finance at UNL and a sister-in-law named Paige. A little fun fact about me is that both of my parents were also teachers, and definitely inspired me to be where I am today.Â
We are going to have a great year! :)
