Hello! I'm Mrs. Grant, the HAL facilitator at Aspen Creek Middle. I hold Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Education from UNO, an I-Team (grades 4-6) Math Specialist certificate from UNL, and a High Ability Endorsement from Midland University. In addition to teaching HAL at AMS, I am also an Adjunct Instructor for Midland University for the online HAL endorsement program.
My teaching philosophy revolves around making kids think and pushing themselves to grow through challenging experiences. I encourage kids to have the "HAL spirit" while in my classroom, meaning they push themselves beyond the norm, have a growth mindset, meet challenges head-on, and find ways to get answers to their questions independently.
