I came to Grandville in ninth grade and I absolutely love this school. I have been a proud member of the Grandville Band and Color Guard for four years and I want to give back to the community that has given me so much. Grace McDaniel (Junior Survivor)
Hi, my name is Grace McDaniel, and I am partnering with Sydney Jaarsma! I am in 7th grade and I am a part of musical theatre and the choir council. I've been a cheerleader since Kindergarten and I love making Instagram videos and hanging with my dog Gus. I've watched a lot of Survivor with my older brother, so watch out. Quinn Block
Hey, it’s Quinn! I am excited for this opportunity to be on Senior Survivor. I stay pretty busy with school clubs, friends, and family. Currently, I enjoy reading, scrolling on Pinterest, and listening to music in my free time, however I am trying to get into running. Next year I plan on attending college to study business. I love the strategy that is required when making finance and marketing decisions. This skill is something I believe will help me in Senior Survivor. Not to mention having my Italian sister, Sofia, by my side. Best of luck to everyone and let the games begin!

Liam Mahoney (Junior Survivor)
Hello! I am Liam Mahoney, and I am an eighth grader at Grandville Middle School. At GMS, I play football and wrestle, as well as participate in band, Wyldlife, and LINKS. Running and weightlifting are two of my passions. Tom Brady said, “sometimes in life the biggest challenges end up being the best things that happen in your life.” I’m ready to take on this challenge to raise money for a great cause and help Quinn Block win Senior Survivor.

My name is Sofia and I am 17 years old. A fun fact about me, if you didn’t already know, is that I am an exchange student from Italy! Also, I really like listening to music and watching movies. I am into forensic science and hope to get my dream job in that field after college. I was very happy to be a part of the cheerleading team this year where I met many of my best friends here at Grandville. I have always been a stubborn, independent, someone who can persuade people, and I don’t take no for an answer. I am ready for Senior Survivor!

Llew Cox (Junior Survivor)
My name is Llewellyn Cox and I am four years old! I am a student in the 4s Preschool at the Grandville Early Learning Center. I love to learn how to do new things like snowboarding, playing the drums, playing sports like soccer and baseball, and painting. I especially love playing with his two younger brothers and his older cousins who also go to school in Grandville. My biggest advantage when helping Sofia will be my ability to learn new things quickly and how I am speedy quick! I am a “super fast runner”, so watch out!

Hannah Kempf
My name is Hannah Kempf and a fun fact about me is that you can ALWAYS catch me baking something. I’ve sold over 400 cookies in the last two years. I am a student at KCTC in the Advanced Pastry program in hopes of pursuing a career in the world of baking. When I’m not baking, I’m probably playing Super Mario Bros with my friends.. I’m also a member of the high school’s top band, the Symphonic Winds, as a tenor saxophone player. Lastly, although I’m not in any sports this year, I have participated on our high school track, rugby, and golf teams in the past, so I think I have a wide variety of skills to help me win immunity and challenges.

Hi, I’m Izzy. I’m 10 years old and in Mr. Staggs 4th grade class at East Elementary. I pumped to be partnering with Hannah for this year's Senior Survivor. While I participate in all types of sports teams like dance, cheer, basketball, volleyball, and more. I have a couple tricks up my sleeve - I am a Girl Scout and student of Krav Maga.
Caleb VanBuskirk
Hi, I’m Caleb. Some of my interest include collecting vinyl, CDs, and cassettes. I listen to lots of alternative rock and even some T-Swizzle. I enlisted in the army in the late September and I leave for basic training this coming June.. My job in the army will a 31B, military police. I have played bass and have been in orchestra since six grade. I’m also involved in the Audio Visual program at GHS where I make masterpieces videos. My biggest advantage in this competition will be my Dawgs supporting me and my tactics on making money that I’ve learned since freshman year. I also have a trick up my sleeve for getting donations.

Demian Sagahón (Junior Survivor)
My name is Demian, I am 5th grader at East Elementary, and I am partnering with Caleb. I moved here from Mexico when I was 6 years old and I am fluent in both Spanish and English! I love playing soccer and lacrosse. Robotics is also one of my hobbies, and I was able to compete in the Lego League State Tournament. I can't wait to help Caleb win Senior Survivor!

Why, hello there, I’m Ashley. It is my pleasure to be a part of Senior Survivor this year. I am super excited for this opportunity to meet new people and try new things. A few activities I’ve been involved with at GHS are mostly banned related. I play the flute and saxophone! Outside of that, I pursue art as a hobby, and have a 100+ day streak on Duolingo learning Japanese. Besides that, I enjoy traveling and learning new things. I also love watching movies with my pals!

Hello, I’m Hannah! I am often described by others as a very creative person, and I would agree! I love using my skills to make things for people. Whether that be in the form of drawing, crocheting, or even paper crafts, I’d have fun making anything! Hi, I’m Aubrey! I play water polo and I swim at GHS, as well as club water polo during the off season. If you can’t find me on the pool deck, I’m probably spending time with family or friends. I’m also a member of GHS Senior Executive Board, NHS, WALC, Kids Food Basket Club, and Be Nice. I have two kitties, LC and DC, whom I will miss so much during Senior Survivor week. I’m Alyssa Randall! I am a third year member of the varsity dance team at GHS. I love participating in school spirit and getting others excited about school. Heyo! I’m Shawn. You may have seen me around, maybe you haven’t, I'm involved in Senior Executive board, National Honors Society, Compassionate Hearts Initiative, and Broadcasting. Some things I enjoy are sleeping, weight lifting, and hanging with friends. The goal I set for myself freshman year was to get out of my comfort zone by getting involved at school and Senior Survivor allows me to do just that. I believe that I have a shot at winning due to my dedication and familiarity with the school. Hi everyone, my name is Emily! I am a triplet to my siblings, Maya and Zach Sneller. I am a varsity cheerleader and am a senior executive board member. In my free time one will probably see me stressing over the AP classes I am taking or hanging out with my friends. My biggest advantage in this game will be that I can succeed by running off of no sleep. I also am a really good negotiator and can get people to help me out in the games by donating. I am Ireland, and I am a 5th grader at Cummings Elementary. Right now I am competing in the Battle of the Books, and I am surrounded by boys in my family, so I know I have what it takes to help Emily win. I’m Kelly Remenap. I have lived in Grandville my whole life and I’m excited to be a part of Senior Survivor! I am an officer on our high school student council and NHS, and have played softball all four years here. Outside of school, I am a member of my church leadership team, I play softball, and I love spending time with my family and friends. A fun fact about me is I am ambidextrous! My name is Brendan Sonnema, and I am very excited to be a part of Senior Survivor and make the most of my senior year at GHS. Hi, I’m Emma! I have been in student council for 4 years now and love every second of it. My passion to lead my peers led me to become secretary of the student council my junior year and vice president this year. I am also involved in Be Nice, WALC, DECA, youth leadership at St. Pius, Trail Dawgs, and cross country where I stood as captain this year. I also love to read, hang out with friends and family, spend summer weekends at the lake, run with my teammates, and play hockey. An interesting fact about me is that I spontaneously joined the Griffins girls youth hockey team as a goalie, with no prior hockey experience before my first day of practice. I believe that my passion to lead others, spread positivity, and my ability to talk to absolutely anyone gives me the highest advantage in this competition. Senior survivor here I come!

Hi, my name is Lydia DeCook. I’ve been involved in track and cross-country during my time in Grandville and now focus much of my time with DECA and as well as working in our high school spirit store, The Dog Den. I also work at a daycare because my hope is to one day be an elementary school teacher! I spend a lot of time babysitting kids in my neighborhood and serving at my church.
