Welcome to my CCR class. This class is designed to help the students select one of the five endorsements while continuing to develop critical thinking and writing skills. I have taught reading and writing for the last nine years. This is my 6th year teaching in GPISD. I have a Master's degree in English from Grand Canyon University. I have a Bachelor's from UHD in Interdisciplinary Studies.

CCR is an 8th-grade course that helps students prepare to select one of the five endorsement diploma plans they will pursue in High School. Those endorsements are S.T.E.M.(Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) Business & Industry, Public Service, Arts and Humanities, and Multidisciplinary Studies. This class is designed to help those students explore all of the endorsements before selecting on in the spring when the students start planning for High School.
