Zatch G.

On an early morning on August 26, 2011, I, Zatch Garza was born in Galveston, Texas. I am the youngest of 4 kids and I am currently in 8th grade. My brothers' names are Raul, Raciel, and Jose; my parent's names are Patricia and Raul. I have 6 aunts 7 uncles and 20 cousins. I am currently attending Woodland Acres Middle School where I have made many friends. I like school for many reasons, but my favorite reason is working out with my friends. I enjoy working out because it is fun and it is also helping me better myself. There are also many reasons why I don't enjoy school and one of those reasons is having to keep my grades high and consistent, but I know I have to push myself to get higher grades and do well this year. 

I have many hobbies such as playing sports, working out, listening to music, playing video games, spending time with my family, and hanging out with friends. I enjoy playing video games with my friends because it is really fun, but I also enjoy going outside with my friends and family because it is good to take a break from technology. I enjoy going to my friend's house because it is very fun and we get along very well. Some talents that I have are being able to play the tenor saxophone very well. Another talent that I have is being bilingual.

I have accomplished many things, for instance being in Wind Ensemble Band in 7th Grade and 8th Grade while maintaining A´s and B´s throughout the whole year. Another accomplishment is receiving a 1 in our band UIL for sight reading . Another of my accomplishments is being in all advanced classes this year. Another accomplishment is being in the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS). I also won Offensive MVP in football my 7th grade year and I am currently the starting center on the football team. Also,my 7th grade year I was a starter on the A team Basketball team. 

Some goals that I have for this year is for my grades to stay consistent and high, I want to try and get all A’s this year. I want to try and read more books as it is good for me. I also want to work harder and try and be a better person. Some other goals that I have this year is to get a lot stronger, be a better version of myself and to be more consistent with going to the gym outside of school. I would also like to contribute more winning games for the school football team. I also want to spend more time with my family and friends.
