Reflection

I have had the weirdest school year of all time even the teacher’s say so. I thought that sixth grade was a weird school year but, seventh grade is even crazier than sixth grade. It’s weird because I talk to a computer to communicate with my classmates and my teacher’s. I had the option to go to school and be with my friend and teachers Face to face but when it was barely an option Covid was still kinda bad and my mom thought of Covid-19 as a no go. She was scared that i would contain it at school and then pass it to my siblings, her or my dad back home or that maybe I had it and would pass it to someone else in my school and then would have created a whole line of people with covid. I stayed online for everyone's safety because of all the things that could happen so I have been online the whole school year except when we had tests like staar or campus test or Telpas or any type of important test that would come up. We would do this so that teachers could make sure that they would not cheat or do something on the test we are not supposed to. They also put us in classrooms so that the teacher could help us if we needed help with anything on the test. My friends and I still talk but only text through messages since I don't go to school. Some of my friends go to school and I wanted to go to school so that I could talk to them and we could feel more like real friends but my mom was still afraid I would cause a massacre. When we did the test we would all meet at the front when the bell rang and would talk for a bit until our moms would come to pick us up. My grades were getting low at one point but I started pushing my limits so that I would reach grades over 80 right now. My grades are almost at my expectations except for like 1 or 2 because I still need a bit more work to do so that I can catch up with my grades. Since last year I have been getting more interested in computer science and how they work and are. I still haven't changed my idea of becoming a computer engineer when I grow up. I am working on building a computer with some of my friends help since I don't know as much as he does.
