Hello! My name is Richard Urbano. I am a graduate of the Trinity University of Asia, located in the Philippines, with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. I have been in the teaching profession for 28 years. Seven of those years were in the Philippines and 22 years here in the US.
I taught for a year at MB Smiley High School in North Forest ISD, then I taught for two years at C.E. King High School in Sheldon ISD. I've been with GPHS for the past 19 years. This school year, I will be teaching AP Calculus AB, AP Statistics, and Algebra II.
I've had the opportunity to teach Algebra I, Geometry, Algebraic Reasoning, Advanced Quantitative Reasoning (AQR), College Prep Math (CPM), Statistics, AP Statistics, Pre-Calculus, and AP Calculus in this school.
One of my goals this year is to provide my students with the tools and materials, and give as much support for my students to be ready and be successful on their TSIA, AP Calculus AB, and AP Statistics exams.
