The Scary Awesome Time Known as the Middle Ages

Introduction

During the Middle Ages, many amazing & unamazing things existed like something that decided how you live your life, how much power you have, and many more things, or someone that has strong magic that can fight an entire army without any support, or even mythical creatures that can destroy villages in less than 5 minutes with fire breathing, hard skin, wings, and a long tail and that’s only one type of the many there is.

Feudalism

Something that the world would be a disaster without during the middle ages Feudalism. It’s a government system that started on the 9th. It also tells people how much power you have, what you can work as, and many more. It divides people into 5 different groups: King, Bishop, Barons and Nobles, Lords and Knights, and Peasants and Smurfs, peasants being the lowest and king’s being the highest. Worst part is that you can’t choose, you're just born into it. If a king has a kid it will be born a king but if a peasant has a kid it will be born a peasant and you can't switch no matter what.

It sucks being born a peasant “Villages consisted of 10-60 families living in rough huts on dirt floors, with no chimneys or windows. Often, one end of the hut was given over to storing livestock. Furnishings were sparse; three-legged stools, a trestle table, beds on the floor softened with straw or leaves. The peasant diet was mainly porridge, cheese, black bread, and a few home-grown vegetables. Peasants had a hard life, but they did not work on Sundays or on the frequent saints' days, and they could go to nearby fairs and markets.” (Feudalism and Medieval Life) Another bad fact is that  if you were born in the middle ages you had around 90% to be working in the fields as a peasant. To end this in a good way “

Feudalism helped protect communities from the violence and warfare that broke out after the fall of Rome and the collapse of strong central government in Western Europe.

Merlin The Magician

` Merlin is a magician that works alongside king Arthur . Merlin has been displayed in many different stories but in most he is portrayed as a good person which is good since he had many powers like “shape-shifting, the ability to appear and disappear without notice, the ability to control climate, summon darkness, mists, storms, fire, and smoke to aid Arthur, and cast sleep spells” (Merlin-Hanover) It would also be really bad since he is immortal, (that means he can not die) they say he turned immortel due to powerful magic or his destiny that ties him with the return of Arthur.”

Merlin is a half demon half human yet he still stands with christianaty due to his good personality . Merlin is actually short for Merlinius which was originally Merdinius so he would have been called Merdin. The original creator of merlin used the two magicians known as Myrrdin and Nennius. Merlin once worked with uther Pendragon which could also be portrayed as king Arthur's Father meaning he has helped two generations in his time.

Dragons

Imagine lizards but not just any lizard lizards that can grow up to be 30ft tall, have wings, breathe fire, tunnel underground, and do many more, those are dragons. There are many types of dragons and each one of them have their own unique characteristics, like fire breathing, swimming,   shapeshifting, and much more. Even though there’s many types of dragons, people mostly think of the western dragon, that is the one that has wings, breathes fire, has a tail, and is almost always in dragon movies. Then there is the one where Hercules beat the Hydra. It's a dragon that practically has an infinite amount of heads, because if you cut one of them it will regrow 2 in its place. Then there's dragons that are peaceful like a Fairy dragon they say they bring fairies to wherever they go but there super rare the rarest one with fewer sightings than any other type of dragon(What Is a Dragon) Dragons originated from Europe and China, and perhaps in the Americas and Australia as well.

How humans would stand no chance against dragons. They are giant fire breathing lizards that can fly at a top speed of 70mph or higher and have skin as strong as iron and have a bite force stronger than a T-Rex and that’s not even the strongest dragon. We would also lose a lot of equipment just fighting one then the rest would overpower us since we have no equipment and if you say there just dumb animals incpapble of thinking smart plans like those then you would be suprised to know that dragons are as smart maybe even smarter than humans. Don’t mess with dragons or they will mess you up.

Most people are scared of dragons because they are strong and can kill you so easily, but I believe they're only hostile if you make them mad so you should not be worrying unless you are a woman who has not lost their virginity since they find them a delicacy for some strange reason.  Even tho I still think dragons are awesome.

Conclusion

The Middle Ages is a cool time period with mythical creatures like dragons, magic and powerful magicians like Merlin the Magician, or a government system that decides if you live a good life or a terrible life.
