Walking out of a teachers room is never allowed.
To attend any of Miss Walkers activities you must MEET Behavior Expectations.
Redirection is a positive not negative (Gives you the opportunity to self correct)
Wearing your hoodie on your head is an absolute NEVER!
BEST Room is for social skills and 5-10 minutes breaks when needed.

Utilize district approved social skills curriculums. Example, “The Incredible 5 Point Scale”, individualized social scripts, current affairs, etc. Social Skills instruction can take place throughout the day as situations occur.

Students will earn tokens or points for engaging in desired behaviors that are clearly defined and known by the student and staff working with them. Tokens can be exchanged for preferred items or activities. The exchange of these can occur weekly, daily or monthly. With a token economy, students have the option of holding onto tokens or points for larger ticket items. If a student engages in undesired behaviors then they will lose tokens or points making this a response cost. A token economy must be implemented simultaneously with positive reinforcers.
