How and why I became a teacher….
My experience in the dental field began in 1997. At the time I had no idea how much I’d come to love it. I worked as a dental assistant for almost 20 years. Over the years one of my duties was to train interns that were in college going to school to be a dental assistant. I found that I loved teaching them what I had learned, and became aware of a position to teach dental assisting at a local college. I was excited to go for it. So, I began working at the college in the evenings. It wasn’t until 2016 I began teaching at North Shore Senior High School. I can honestly say my love for dental, as well as, teaching is because of great teachers and mentors that I have been lucky enough to learn from.
