I am originally from Austin, TX and graduated from Southwest Texas State with a Bachelors of Music in Music Education. I also have a Masters of Education in Educational Leadership from Lamar University.
This is my 25th year as the head choir director at North Shore Middle School.
I serve as the Fine Arts Department Chair at NSMS and Lead Fine Arts Teacher for GPISD.
I am so excited to make music with our students during the 2024-2025 school year! Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or if you need assistance.
I am a mom of eight year old twins and in my spare time I love to cook and share food with my family.
MR. David Bruce
MR. David Bruce
Mr. Bruce is from Jersey Village, TX. He graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Music in 2021.
He is beginning his fourth year as a teacher, and is thrilled to be starting his second year at North Shore MS!
Mr. Bruce is a member of TMEA and TCDA. He enjoys cooking, performing, gaming, and spending time with his cat, Finn. Mr. Bruce can't wait to meet his students and have fun learning music in the home of champions!
Ms. Katlyn White
Ms. Katlyn White
Ms. White is originally from Ft. Worth, Texas. She graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Music in 2020.
Prior to joining the North Shore Middle School choir team, Ms. White taught elementary general music in Fort Bend ISD. Here she learned the importance of fostering a love and appreciation for music from a young age, and is excited to share her passion with the students at North Shore Middle!
In her free time, |Ms. White loves to cook and is always trying out new recipies. She also enjoys traveling and taking naps.
