Late Work Policy: The general district policy in grading will be followed. If a student was absent, they will have two class periods to complete the missing work. In case the student was absent during a test day, they must schedule to take the test during tutorials. The district penalty for late work is -10 points for every week late up to 30 points off. Late assignments will only be accepted until one week before the end of the six weeks. Dates will be posted in class. If you would like to remain eligible for activities make sure to keep up with your work, I do fail kids that do not complete work.
Retest Policy: Students are allowed to retake a test at teacher discretion. Students who wish to retake a test must attend two tutorial sessions. During the first session students will review the concepts on the test. During the second session students will take the test. The retest will not be multiple choice.
Grade Reports: Guardians and students can monitor grades through our district’s Skyward system. Skyward Login IDs are printed on the schedule that each student receives on the first day of school. Progress reports are available at the end of the third week of each grading period. Report cards are available at the end of each grading period. Detailed grade reports will also be sent home with students to be signed by a parent or guardian and returned the next class period for extra credit.
