Hello!
Welcome to a brand-new school year! I'm so excited to be here and to help support the health and well-being of all our students and staff.
My name is Karen Williams and I'm your School Nurse. I have been a Pediatric nurse for 20 years. I enjoy helping and teaching our students and their families how to care for themselves when they are ill or injured.
As your school nurse, I'm here to :
Provide first aid and care for injuries or illness during school day.
Manage health plans for students with chronic conditions (like asthma, diabetes, or allergies)
Administer medications as needed with parent/guardian permission
Promote healthy habits and hygiene.
Be a resource for students, parents, and staff on health-related topics.
My goal is to help every student stay healthy, safe, and ready to learn. If you ever have questions or need assistance, feel free to stop by the nurse's office, send an email, or call me.
Here's to a happy and healthy school year!
