Personal history

My name is Nathaniel Jimenez. I live with 4 other family members near NSE (north shore elementary), and i go to woodland acres middle school in 8th grade. It’s becoming an ordeal to stay awake during the school days at this point, but I think I'll be ok for the most part. 8th grade seems to be good so far, but that can go to a mess anytime, so i’m really not getting my hopes up at all. I’ll know if i’m cooked after christmas. My life has been OK so far, and I'm grateful it isn’t worse. Although it hasn’t been all good, there are some things here and there that have lowered my self respect, and sometimes it’s permanent (I once got my face smashed by a ping pong table at dicks Sporting Goods, and I regret not trying to get some cash from Sue). So things can go wrong anywhere anytime, so that’s why i don’t normally set in after something good happens, but like i said, we’ll see

Hobbies and talents

I don’t really have an exact thing I do everyday because my family decides what we do once everyone gets home (and lucky me, it’s never my choice), so here are the things I like to do. I like games in general, like board and video games (I am yet to learn how to play poker), and i like to read too (i also have no problem re-reading games). The activities my family do are simple: we either stay home all day and chill, or we go through a brain numbing 5 hours of errands and get home all sleepy. This may seem sad, but I don’t really have much talent (I AM trying to learn japanese, but i have no idea if i’ll be able to master that). I am pretty good at soccer, I can play games well, and I can efficiently speed read (only when it’s something interesting). I’ll be trying to get better at this stuff and life in general, so don’t judge.

Accomplishments 

My life has technically been too short to list worthwhile stuff that is cool (yes, I know there are young kids who have solved high school math problems, and some that cured a sickness or whatever, but most of those achievements were accidents), but I DO have some that count. I’ve made the honor roll for a full year once, I beat about 5 video games, and I went on a monopoly win streak (brown properties are the best). I can definitely do more than that, but right now, I kind of want to make it through everything else first, such as school and stuff. I’ve been working on getting better at stuff, so i’ll have more stuff done later in the long run

Goals

My goals for this year are straightforward: get a B in at least all classes (math will be my demise), be a good yearbook editor (can’t believe i’ll be doing that), and writing/spelling better (please don’t look at my notebook).  It's gonna be tough, but i can do it (famous last words before i fall), and if i CAN’T, that's gonna suck.This is the year where i’m gonna get serious about grades and all that stuff, i can’t just “pass” and leave. Hope everything works out in the end for me, and all I can really do is hope. But like I said, everything can be futile in the end, so yeah, good luck to me.
