DENSITY
November 28- December 14
Density is a physical property of matter. It is a measurement of how much matter is packed into a certain volume of a substance. Density is measured by comparing an object’s mass (the amount of matter in a substance) and its volume (the amount of space a substance fills up).
To find the density of a substance, you must first measure its mass and its volume. Divide the mass by the volume to find the object’s density. The unit for density is: g/cm3.
D= MASS/VOLUME
D= MASS/VOLUME
