Meet the Teacher

ELMILA MCBRIDE

I have been teaching in Galena Park for twenty years.  I began my journey at what was NS 9th/10th grade campus.  I moved to the senior high and am presently teaching at ACE.  Over the course of my tenure, I have taught Communication Application, Theatre I and II, ESL Reading, Analysis of Visual Media, Credit Recovery, Professional Communication and Visual Media Analysis and Production.  I have a bachelors degree in Communication from Lamar University.  I have a Masters degree from Walden University in Reading in the Content Area and a Masters from University of St. Thomas in Educational Exceptionality.  I enjoy teaching and believe that there is always something new to learn.
