Hello there !

My name is Ms. Torres and I am going to be your Third Grade! This will be my 23-year teaching with GPISD, but I used to be a teacher in Mexico too but was an Art Teacher and History Teacher. I love teaching Math and science because are important subjects, not just in school but also in our lives. We are surrounded by math and science in our everyday lives making them essential parts of our existence. Whether calculating the monthly expenses or understanding healthy food habits, math and science surround us in so many ways.

Besides my education as a teacher I have two Collage Degrees one in Art and a Psychology Degree, so if you ever need a friend to talk to, I am all ears.

I was born in Monterrey, Mexico and my parents live there. I have a younger sister that lives in Spain and one niece and nephew. I do not have kids, but I have two dogs that I love Okami and Blue and they use to walk around Cloverleaf, so I decided to adopt them. I have also six cats as well.

I cannot wait to spend this year learning and growing with you!
