Grades
Tests, essays, and major projects count for 50% of the grade; daily work, homework, and quizzes count for 50%. Late work will be penalized -10 points per week (100% goes to 90%, 90% goes to 80%, etc.) If absent, it is the student’s responsibility to make up the work within five days. After school tutorials will be available in my classroom (Room 2125) Tues. and Thurs. from 2:40-3:30pm.

About Me:
About Me:
After graduating from the University of Houston Clear Lake, I was a substitute teacher for Pasadena ISD and Conroe ISD. I worked as a paraprofessional in the Life Skills department for Oak Ridge High School for 2 years. This was a great experience and prepared me for my current position as a special education teacher. This is my 6th year here at wonderful Galena Park High School teaching Resource English Language Arts 9th-12th grade. My time with GPISD has been amazing and I am looking forward to many years to come as I strive for excellence for my students and myself!
