Hello, my name is Ms. Dudley and I will be the ELAR teacher for the 8th grade Bengals team for the 2025-2026 school year.  I am a native Houstonian who received both my undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Houston college systems.  In addition to being an ELAR teacher, I am also the department chair for the ELAR department.   We are living during a strange time in history that is both scary and unparalleled! However, I still believe that we can achieve all of our educational goals for the year.  We can soar higher than we ever imagined with dedication and hard work.  I said “we” because I am included in this paradox we call the 2025-2026 school year.  I inherited my strong work ethic from both of my parents.  My father was very stringent when it came to my education; and that has pushed me to push both my daughter and my students with the same determination and educational focus.  All things can be Achieved!  I do not believe in “I can’t do it”.  It may take longer and a different strategy along with hard work, but everything is attainable.  I look forward to educating our students this school year.  Thank you!
