Hello! My name is Mrs. Garcia and I'm your student's 6th grade Science teacher. This is my third year at Cobb Sixth Grade Campus. Before joining Cobb, I taught at Galena Park Middle School.

I was born and raised in Galena Park and have a deep love for this community. I attended Galena Park Elementary, Galena Park Middle School, and graduated from Galena Park High School. I then attended the University of Houston, where I earned my degree in Biology.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, visiting our beautiful national parks, building LEGO sets, playing board  and video games, and geeking out over Wonder Woman, Coraline, Star Wars, and all things science!

I look forward to getting to know your child and sharing my love of science with them this year. My goal is to create a classroom where students feel comfortable asking questions, thnking critically, and discovering how science connects to the world around them. If you ever have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me!  :)
