60% of a students grade comes from daily grades, quizizz, activities.

Assignments should be turned in in a timely matter to prevent them from being maked as a zero.

If absent students have extra time to complete the assignments and may attend tutorials if needed.

40% of a students grade comes from tests, projects and labs.

Tests may be corrected after a student has attended a tutorial to revisit the material.

Labs missed due to absences may have an alternate assignment to make up for a missed activity.

Cell phones are a big distraction for students and adults as well. In my class all cell phones are to remain out of sight. 

I will give a class warning at the start of class reminding students of the district policy.

If the cell phone is seen during class it will be taken up and may be collected at the end of the day.

If the cell phone continues to be seen on multiple days, the phone will be delt with according to district policy.

Student behavior problems will be resolved in accordance with the student handbook.

Teacher will attempt to contact a parent via school status in the event of behavior issues in class.
