Mrs. Kenney started her teaching career in 2011. During that time she has taught Biology I, Earth Science, and 8th grade science in three states (MS, TN, and TX). She developed a love for the biological sciences once she realized its importance in her everyday life. She earned her B.S. in Biology Education from Alcorn State University. In her free time, Mrs. Kenney enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading, and taking Taekwondo.

Mrs. Kenney is a firm believer that with the right mindset all students are capable of expanding their knowledge in both the academic arena and life. Her goal is to inspire each of her students to have an open mindset and try new things. Once that is achieved there are no limits on learning!

La Sra. Kenney comenzó su carrera docente en 2011. Durante ese tiempo, ha enseñado Biología I, Ciencias de la Tierra y ciencias de octavo grado en tres estados (MS, TN y TX). Desarrolló un amor por las ciencias biológicas una vez que se dio cuenta de su importancia en su vida cotidiana. Obtuvo su B.S. en Educación en Biología de la Universidad Estatal de Alcorn. En su tiempo libre, a la Sra. Kenney le gusta pasar tiempo con amigos y familiares, leer y practicar Taekwondo.

La Sra. Kenney cree firmemente que con la mentalidad adecuada todos los estudiantes son capaces de ampliar sus conocimientos tanto en el ámbito académico como en la vida. Su objetivo es inspirar a cada uno de sus estudiantes a tener una mentalidad abierta y probar cosas nuevas. Una vez que se logra, no hay límites para el aprendizaje.
