About me

Hello! Welcome to Kindergarten! I look forward to having you as a part of my class. I am a graduate of University of Houston-Downtown and have earned Masters from University of Houston- Clear Lake and the University of St. Thomas. I have been a teacher for 26 years here at Jacinto City Elementary.

I am married with one daughter and three pets. In my off time, I like to read, travel, and play games on my phone.

Education is very important to me, and I feel that it is the gateway to many possibilities. I hope to instill the passion of learning in every student that enters my classroom as well as on our campus here at JCE. 

I see our new school year as a journey into the impossible becoming an adventure for astonishing accomplishments. We will become familiar with technology, learn the basics of forming letters and sounds into words and then putting it all together to create sentences and stories. We will dive into numbers and figure out how they work in our everyday lives and read books that will take us into worlds imaginable and magical... so get ready for the excitement of being a Tiger as part of the Kindergarten Crew!
