We will also examine the history and impact of major religious and philosophical traditions.
Class Policies:
Grading Policy:
Grades will be determined by the following: 50% daily work and 50% tests or projects. A minimum combination of 4 major and 8 daily work grades will be given per six weeks. All daily assignments, tests, and projects will be clearly posted and announced through Google Classroom.
Make-Up or Late Work Policy:
Upon an absence it is the responsibility of the student to contact the teacher regarding missing assignments and make-up work. Students will be held accountable for the completion of missing work in a timely manner.
The DEADLINE for submitting make-up work and test retakes is ONE WEEK prior to the end of each six weeks. This date will be clearly posted in the classroom, as well as announced throughout the six-week period. Tests can be retaken. Re-tests must be completed by the end of the 5th week of the Six Weeks period. If a student is to retest, he/she must attend one tutorial session which allows the teacher an opportunity to re-teach the material. The retest must be taken no later than one week after the first test has been graded and returned to the student.
