About Me

Hello! My name is Mr. Garcia, and I am thrilled to be teaching English I Advanced and AP English Language & Composition this school year! We will have a fantastic, challenging, and exciting year. Please feel free to peruse the various items on this site.

About the Classes

English I Advanced

The class deals with learning different methods for analyzing texts, writing essays, and using the English language. This class was designed to prepare students for the STAAR exam.

AP English Language

The class deals with learning to analyze rhetoric in different contexts; also, we will learn how to form arguments in an intelligent, academic way. This class was designed to prepare students for the AP exam.
