About Me
Hello, My Name is Mr. Rogers, I am the new Art Teacher at Pyburn Elementary, My goal as your child's Art Teacher is to kindle and nurture the creativity that is inherent to any child at this stage in life. I plan to teach them the core elements and principles of art so that they are ready for the more advanced uses of them in middle and highschool.
Some more information about myself, I am a homegrown Northshore Mustang from class 2019, and a Graduate of University of Houston Clear Lake with a BFA in Fine Arts. I've spent my entire college career learning as many different art mediums that I can incorporate into the classroom to try and find something that your child will find interesting. Art is an amazing outlet especially for the younger children and if I can inspire just one child to take up a hobby like art, then I am content.Â
