Tutorials:

Tuesdays: 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

• These are for both geometry and advanced algebra 2

• Tutorial can be cancelled if I have a meeting during the scheduled tutorial time. Check the my class calendar here, to see if I've cancelled tutorials.

• Let me know during class if you plan to come to tutorials. I will give you a tutorials pass that you can use after school to get to my class. Room will be 2104 unless I say otherwise.

• Follow this link to get information on afterschool busses. Although, I would recommend having a parent or guardian pick you up after tutorials.

Google classroom:

• You need to be checking the Google Classroom on a regular basis in order to see what Delta Math assignment you're missing. 

• Google Classroom grades DO NOT reflect the actual grade in the class. Check your Skyward grade to know your real grade in the class. 

• I will be posting the notes that we take in class. So if you're having difficulties with an assignment, make sure to look at the notes on how to do certain examples. 

• If you were absent, you need to get a blank copy of the notes from me and fill it in using the provided class notes.

Tutorials Do & Don't:

DO:

• DO show up with specific questions.

• DO know what areas you need help with.

• DO start your questions by letting me know what you already tried when it comes to questions you're running into issues with. This helps me determine the level of effort you've already put in and where I need to start. 

• DO know what assignments you're missing if you want to work on missing assignments.

• DO sign in and out when you arrive and when you leave.

DON'T:

• DON'T ask "I don't get it." That isn't a helpful question to you or to me. I need a specific question about what you're having trouble understanding so I know how to approach things.

• DON'T expect me to re-teach a lesson. I've gone over a lesson in class and I've provided online notes in the Google Classroom. If you haven't looked at them before coming to tutorials, I will not be going over an entire lecture. 

• DON'T expect me to work the problem for you. You need to put in your own effort. So you should expect me to ask you a lot of questions that guide you to the answer.
