History of Men of Distinction

Men of Distinction was founded on the campus of W. C. Cunningham during the 2002-2003 school year as a way to unite the young men on the campus into a brotherhood. Mr. Tale Lockett and 4 other teachers felt this would be a great way to help prepare young men for the challenges that high school students encounter. Today over Fifteen years later, Men of Distinction remains a strong organization at CMS. MOD is involved in many different community service activities throughout the school year on campus and in our community. MOD also hosts Bragging Rights at the end of every school year, this is where all our organizations come together and showcase all of their many talents. MOD will consist of both 7th and 8th Grade students.

Who we are

Men of Distinction (M.O.D.) is a middle school step team focused on developing young men into leaders, scholars, and gentlemen. Our program combines the art of stepping with character building, academic support, and community service, preparing members to succeed both on and off the stage. You do not need any experience to join. Below are a few of our members and sponsors.
